"Overall I was very satisfied with my experience - the car was great and the service was excellent, especially considering that we were late to pick up the car due to rain and traffic.

I'd have two suggestions about how to make things a bit better: first, it would be nice if you provided a map which shows which car dealership to return the car to if you return it outside of the hours that you are usually open because we initially forgot which car dealership to return it to (the dealership across the road). The second thing is that I accidentally filled the car up with more gas when we returned (about a 1/2 full tank) than when we started (about a 1/4 full tank), and it would have been nice to get some credit for that towards the fee for exceeding the millage allowance or towards the price of the hire since we effectively returned the car with an extra 20 pounds worth of gas that we didn't need to pay for.

Thanks again for the car hire, and I may be in contact at some point next spring about renting a car again for next summer!"

The young drivers fee is really expensive but I guess that's nothing to complain about to you. All in all I would love to hire a car again next time I'm traveling in Scotland.

I just want to add some small things that could be improved: the car (inside) was a bit dirty when I got it, it would be awesome if you would take care of a shuttle service back to the airport and to have full-to-full policy on the gas. Because I got that car with the tank filled by a quarter and it is harder than you would think to return it with the same amount. "There was no service I was able to find that matched your price for the vehicle type (wagon, automatic trans) and the insurance/mileage etc. That alone was a massive win.

In terms of match for the trip, we had a few issues in Skye, as the roads there are quaint, and terrible. The ride-height of the Toyota was not a match for some of the mud and potholes we encountered (even without any off-road travel). We got through, but the gent who inspected the vehicle on return did give the car a thorough inspection. He definitely made me feel a bit nervous about wear due to negligence versus wear from being driven in Scotland for 10 days.

"I have been travelling for over a month and a half now, we have rented from several car companies, and I have to say that renting through you has been the most relaxing, easiest, and nicest (the car itself, Steven, and yourself) car hire that I have experienced this trip.

As a young driver, I have found it very difficult to find a car hire that was as accommodating as yours. Other car hires were going to charge me more than double the amount because I am under 25, even though I have had 8 years of driving experience. So, finding your car hire that accommodates young drivers was great.

The car itself was great too. It was perfect for driving on Skye and considering I drive on the right hand side at home, it was a comfortable transition to the left side of the road because of the size of the car itself. The only thing we found a bit stressful was making sure we were under the mileage allowance for entirety of the trip, so we had to plan our distances accordingly.
